LAPTOP AND COMPUTER

Generally, Laptop and computer are having the same functional. They are created and organized to make easier the human doing. And nowadays, laptop is nvented. It has the same function with the the personal computer. Thwese two things are the same, but have a little bit difference. The purpose of this essay is to compare between laptop and computer. Specificly for design, efficiency, and what is the most used.
I am going to discuss about the laptop first. There are three aspects ; design, efficiency, and the most used. Laptop is esigned in more elegant. It is smaller than computer. It also completed by battery.So that iswhy laptop can be used without direct connection to the electricity, even that only for 2-3 hours maximumly. Caused by its small size, laptop easy to bring everywhere. It is the reason wy the laptop is more efficient and most used by people.
Next, I would like to discuss about the personal computer. Personal computer is bigger than laptop and it has so complicated hardware. Almost all the components of computer are bigger too. It does not completed with battery, so that it must have direct connection with the electricity if we want to use it. It can not be bring everywhere, because have lot of components. Nowadays, the user of personal computer are reducing. Many peolpe think that the personal computer is an old trend.
Actually, it is not a big deal they are different. Because they still have the same functions for human being. Laptop is the os used by people recently because they think that it more efficient and easy to bring everywhere.

SILEK SABUANG EVENT

Silek sabuang is a festival that celebrated by Lubuk sikaping society at the beginning of Ramadhan. It is held one day before the first day of fasting Ramadhan. It is a kind of big celebration of people there, they realy can not stand for waiting this moment. It is a grateful day to forgive each others.
The ceremony is started by a parade of some custom leaders ( datuak, mamak, bundo kanduang, etc ). It is also followed by teenagers who dress up with traditional costums. For the Bundo kanduang and Puti they carry a kind of liquid which commonly know well as aia limau (it’s consist of some kind of flowers) They are divided on two groups, one from the north and another one from the south, later they will deal in front of the mosque to continue with traditional self defens art performance that usualy called by Silek Sabuang
After that, they come into prime ceremony, that is commonly called by “balimau”. This activity take place in front of the mosque. The participants of it not only the people who have already performed the parade, but also all of the viewer who come to see the ceremony there. It is begun with welcoming speech by one of the custom leaders, and then will be followed by the Regent of Pasaman. After that they splash the liquid which is carried by Bundo Kanduang from their head to the face. Afterwards they have hand shaking, it is signify that they have already forgiven each others to greet the Ramadhan.
Then the ceremony will be continued by praying magrib together in the mosque. They do dzikir together while waiting for Isya. After they Finish pray Isya, they are listen for the Ustadz’s speech. At last they pray their the first taraweh , and then do tadarusan there.

My Hometown

My hometown is Lubuk sikaping, or well known as Pasaman. It takes about four hour journey to get there from padang. Although it is a small town, but I really enjoy living there. It is the most convinient place for me. The people are friendly, unspoiled nature, friendly weather, the society still thick with their native culture, that's all what make me proud belong of them.


There are some interesting places to visit here, one of the famous nature reserve is Rimbo Panti. This is one west of the Sumatra tourist destination that visited by foreign tourists. Beautiful nature, provide an atmosphere of relaxation for visitors. many plants and animals here. The natural hot spring also available here, it is trusted can cure many diseases, especially for skin diseases.


Because it is traversed by the equator line, in one area here we find a natural phenomenon that known as the TITIK KULMININASI phenomenon. This phenomenon occurs twice in year. It is be on mid-March and September. The gravitation of the earth and sun are same, as the consequence in the twelve o'clock at noon the shadow will disappear for a few minutes.
exactly,there are many exciting thing to see when this phenomenon occur. I prefer you to see it by your self.


Typical food of here is called by ASAM DURIAN. It's a kind of curry dish but using a mixture of durian as a marinade, and a little bit spicy. Becauseit’s quite a lot of people here whose livelihoods by gardening so other typical foods as keepshake from here are Pisang salai,salak, banana, and nuts.

Lubuk Sikaping has its own deep impression for people who have visited. This is evidenced from several people who have been living here for some time, they confess they really miss to live there again. The sense of living there is totally different from another place .

My mom is my everything

My mom is my idol, why do I say that? That is because all the things she did. She is the best woman all over the world I guess, and nothing to compare with. When I grow up , I just want to be like her. I am really proud of her.

She is not only be a mom for me, but also can be a best friend for sharing. I always tell her about the things that I find in my life. I tell her everything, whether is that bad or good things. I tell her about what me and my friends had been talking in the class, what I eat, what want to eat at the day, and how it is taste. I also tell her about the boys who try to get him self close to me. She never feel bored to listen it all. She always give me the best solution for all the problem that I get. Commonly, we make more than seven phone calls in a day, the total duration is about three hours. She also can get her self close to my friends easily, and all my friends also love her too. Almost all of my friends called her mom, like what I do. They told me that they want to have a mother like my mom. Hmmm.. So exciting isn't it?

She shows me the life. I learn how the life should be from her. She told me that," Life is not Like what we have imagined, sometimes it will be easier, or might be harder than. It's depend on Us, how to pass all the problem that we face. The important thing is we have to be ikhlas, even we get the worst thing ". When I'm down, she have always stand by me. She give me strenghthen. She's the one who can leave my pain away when no one can do it.

This a little journal which make me salute to my mom. It is when my family got a problem. My father failed at his project, he have already paid a lot of money for it. We got bankrupt. It was hard to imagine what will happen to us. My father almost depressed, and me too. I don't know how to pay for my college. Then my mom solved the problem, she replaced my father duty to gather money. She opened a cafetaria, and alhamdulillah she got success with it.
My mom said that, surely God give the problem related to ability. Where there's a will, there's a way. And you will, when you believe.

I love my mom so much. I don't want to make her dissaponted at me. All the things that I do, I do it for her. I promise , I will do my best. Someday I will make the happiness tears flow away in her face. I will prove that I can make her proud of me.

My Beloved family

I love my family very much, there is nothing to compare with. It is a truly blessing to have them all. Even though life is not like what we have imagined, how worst it is they have always give me supports. I am so grateful that God give me a chance to belong of them. I really thanks to them for being care with me.
Actually, I live in a small family. It is just consist of my father, my mother, me and my only one sister. But now my sister have already been married, and I have to continue my study in Padang. So there are only both of my parents who live at home. Luckily, my sister and my parent are still live in the some town so that my sister and her family can visit them everyday. It is quite enough to reduce the loneliness of my parent I guess.
One of my dissapointment, why time goes so fast? Becoming adults and should continue my study in Padang is a difficult things for me. Because I have not being away from my family before, especially with my mom. Actualy, I really can’t stand being away from my mom. She is the super woman who can concurrently three position at once, and she did all it well. She could be a good wife for her husband, a good mother to her children, and I also be the best friend for sharing. And actually, there are so many people say that I really look like my mother when she was young.
My father is someone who do not talking so much. Sometimes he get angry to me when I make a sily mistake.He said that life begin from the small things. He made a lot of rules, that make me bored. Here are the examples of the rules that made by him ; At 10pm I have to turn my mobile phone off. At 6pm all of family members should be at home , and no more reason to get outside the house. Because I am a girl, I am not allowed to make a short haircut, and I am also do not allowed to have a boy friend. There are also so many things that make me feel annoyed. However, behind it all I realized that my father do that for my own good.

Someday I want to make all of my lovely family proud of me. As my thanks giving to them because so far they have already loved me and been totally care for me.

ALL ABOUT CYLA

I am Cyla, I was born on April 1991. I come from Lubuk Sikaping.I have only one sister and I am the youngest one. I am a student of Padang State University and majoring in English Language and Literature. Now I stay on a boarding hose which located on Siteba.
Physicaly, I am prety tall, but a little fat. My close friend and my family call me “chubby”. I have small eyes, pointed noise, long hair, and light skin. Many people think that I am a chinnese, but I am not. Then my grandma told me that actualy that is right I have a family which belong to chinnese. What a suprise!
There are some advantages and disadvantages because physicaly I look like a chinnese. The advantages is so many people who is chinnese very kind of me. Especially in Padang, because here so many chinnese are seller, so I can get a discount easier because they think that I am a chinese too. They even told me that which the imitation and the originaly one. The disadvantages is many people uncertain with my citizen and my religion. They think that I am not moeslim. That is too bad I think.
About me, there is nothing special. I am just like an ordinary girl who have simple daily. My hobby are listening music, reading and I love to hang out with my friends. Actualy, I am an easy going people, but I don’t like to make friend with someone that a busy body and moody. It is realy bothered me.
I love english very much. Since I was child I have already been interisting in english. I am interested in everything about it. I started to take english course when I was at the first grade in elementary school until I garaduated from my senior high school. My private teacher always told me about how it so amazing to live abroad. She told me her experince when she live in Australia. I wish someday I could living abroad too.

procedure text (How to make fried noodle)

Making Fried Noodle is an efficient food for those living in boarding houses. We don't have to pay a lot, and it also takes short time to make it. Here are the guiding steps.

The materials that we need are; a packace of noodle, an eggs, some ingredients (like union, garlic, celery, chili, etc). After we prepare the things that we need, then we come to the steps for making. First,we fried an egg. while waiting for it we'd better boil the noodle into a bowl. After it is boiled, drain the noodles. Then we saute garlic, onion, celery, and chili that have been sliced. Mix it with the noodle ingresients. Put the noodle into it, then fried it about five minutes. At last the noodle is ready to serve. enjoy it guys. :)
